Senior .NET Engineer

You'll be embedded in cross-functional teams — writing production code, contributing to architecture decisions, and helping shape how we deliver at ElanWave. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a management track. You'll own complex backend systems, collaborate closely with clients, and bring the kind of senior judgement that turns good requirements into great software.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable backend services using .NET 8 / C# and Azure
• Collaborate directly with client engineering teams in a team augmentation model
• Contribute to architecture decisions, API design, and data modelling
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and review your peers' work thoughtfully
• Participate in technical discovery and client-facing conversations
• Mentor junior engineers where the team structure allows

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET / C#
• Strong command of ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and SQL databases
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (DDD, CQRS, microservices)
• Experience with Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus, etc.)
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients in English
• Based in or overlapping substantially with European timezones (UTC±3)

Nice to Have

• Experience with React or Angular on the frontend
• Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD experience
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
• Microsoft certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, etc.)
• Experience working in an agency or consulting context
